Helping Advocates with Complaints to Local Authorities
This website is produced by Malcolm Johnson, a solicitor specialising in compensation claims brought on behalf of children and vulnerable people. Malcolm advises Coram Voice and the National Youth Advocacy Service as well as other organisations, whose advocates regularly present complaints on behalf of children in care and care leavers. This website was set up to help advocates, wherever they may be, find out what kind of remedies/compensation their clients should be seeking when they make complaints. We do this by providing short summaries of cases from the Local Government Ombudsman by category - see our Case Reports page.
We want to make this website as helpful as possible to advocates, and so we welcome suggestions.
